Lucullian delights

Gravatar Lovely story-telling! It's easy to mind-see a blond-headed, fair-skinned girl (in "native" costume if you look too far!) dusted with flour!

What's happening in the photo? Can't quite tell what the black thing next to the butterfly is. I have a photo from last year where a butterfly sat on a dead bird, eating on it apparently, for a few hours. So that's what makes me look extra closely at your shot ...

Gravatar awww I love your story, Ilva. I can almost see your Aunt's kitchen from your description. Very nice =)

Gravatar Glorious memory! You are perfectly right to go with the way it seemed to you at the time, the way we feel it as a child is the way it was for us as a child.
Beautiful story.

Gravatar i'm on it! i might have to wait for the weekend though - i'll be earning my living shucking oysters for the next few nights!

Gravatar Very nice, Ilva. Wonderful memory. Thanks for taking us there with you. Now, you make me want to know how to bake bread.

About the problem with IE: I have the same exact problem. All my links on the right sink to the bottom. It has happened ever since I've started my blog.

A few people who use IE have complained about it but I have never been able to figure how to correct it. I did ask fellow bloggers for help but they gave up. LOL!

I have another problem with IE, which I won't bother writing about. However, with regards to sinking links on the right. I've just left them that way. I like Mozilla Firefox much better anyway and that's what I use normally. Less problems.

Paz

Gravatar Alanna-The black thing is the shadow of the butterfly! It looks a bit strange because I have been playing around with Photoshop a bit!

Ballera-Riesci a sentire il mio sospiro di svogliatezza fino a Roma, ma è possibile che le cose non possono MAI essere facili????? Grazie carissima!

Lisa-Thanks, I really loved it there and I have so many food related memories from there!

Tanna-Yes there are really strong and important feelings involved in childhood memories! And thanks!!

Kishko-at least it oysters! Could have been potatoes... I'm looking forward to your stories!

Paz-If I don't find it I will just do like you have done-leave it be!
So you mean that you don't know how to make bread?!

Gravatar Hi Ilva, thanks for the tag. I'll see if i get a chance - i owe a million and one of these tags... eeek. I have been a slack.

Your story is so beautiful. I doubt very much i can come up with a story as beautiful as yours. But i will try and see
