That last photo does me in, it's all I can do to restrain myself from taking a bite right out of my screen. That is so good looking.

This looks just wonderful. I love fennel seeds and when I make pasta sauce I put in quite a lot, especially if I'm using Italian Sausage (my favorite kind I think). Figs are quite expensive here and lots of times they are either over or under ripened, so I don't buy them too much. I'd love to have some next door!

Wow ... I must admit it does look good but I would have to try it to belive it's good. For me fennel seeds are great with meat and we always use it in sausage. I'll keep an open mind to the funky combo though ... come summer I'll take a bit of both from the garden and see how it turns out :-D
