That looks fantastic. I want one too!
One day hopefully my plum trees will bear fruit! They're still just yearlings. It may be a while. *sigh*

Tanna-thanks! I think plums are a very 'photographable' fruit, they almost always look so good.
Diann-you are welcome!
Lisa-thanks, I'm happy too and I'm busy trying to figure out whayt to make for your event!
gattina-thanks!
Sara-Thank you! I still have one left over here!
Jamie-one day you will probably have so much plums that you almost regret planting them...
Karina-I'm happy too that you finally found the right place to live and that you are back blogging! Thanks!

Now plums are one more common things between us, we are also having plums all over. I've already made a dozen small bottles of cinnamon plums whose recipe I had just skipped over quite recently but can't remember where on the life of me. How silly of me. And today another big basket arrived from my parents' garden. I'll definitely try your lovely cupcakes tomorrow. I'll probably set up a stall on the street to sell them since my family has already had plum cake and plum crumble and plum joghurt (delicious) for breakfast. How we'll miss these little beauties in winter!

Hi Ilva! I've been lurking for quite some time here - time to delurk and say what a beautiful blog you have! I really want to try these, but is it just me, or is there something amiss after the oatmeal flour? It only says 2 dl/0.85 cup - nothing? I'm guessing regular flour, but - HELP!! (oh wait, just realized it does indeed say flour in the directions... Wiiih, then I can make 'em now!)

So so beautiful - the juicy and slightly caramelized top of that plum with the almond nestled in the hollow looks like poetry on a plate!

I made these last night, and they were AMAZING. Just awesome. Husband had seconds for dessert, and he NEVER does that. A couple of notes: I had large plums, so used a quarter of each in each muffin, which yielded twelve medium ones. Didn't have whole almonds, but had sliced, so sprinkled those over the plum skins. Wonderful crunchy top - which because I have a stupid light metal colored muffin pan, took 25 minutes in 350F oven.
Only thing is, today the tops are no longer crunchy. I'm going to try toasting them for dessert tonight. Also, I have pineapple to use up, too...
