The salad looks wonderful but please, what is quinoa? I have never heard of it and could not find it in the dictionary.

Ilva, I think you did a good job capturing the Romanesco cabbage. It's a beautiful picture of a bizarre looking cabbage like modern architecture. I've never had it before and not sure if I've ever seen it. It seems like it might taste like broccoli, does it?

I love all the ingredients in this salad and the color green as well, so I can't wait to make it.

The first time I saw a romanesque cabbage was on your blog. Then I never saw it again, it this past Sunday at the Farmer' Market. I was going to buy one, but my hands were full and I didn't feel like stopping and juggling the bags that I had in my hand. So, I kept walking. I'm happy to see the romanesque cabbage again on your blog! Thanks, Ilva!

Cookiecrumb-That's it, a perfect description! And you pic is great!
burcu-not really, it has a creamier taste than normal cauliflower though, that is when it's cooked. You must try it!
anna maria-I hope you enjoy it, even my severest critic, marco, did!
Stacie-thanks! It is really incredible, it almost makes want to drive a round with miniature space cars on it!
Paz-it makes you wonder which world is the most real one...
dianne-Thansk, nice as usual!

I've never seen that kind of cabbage before. It looks like it was created on a computer! It looks delicious in the salad.

This photo really shows how closely cabbage and broccoli are related (they are THE SAME THING). I just wrote an essay about this on my blog

I wished I'd waited until I'd seen this.

Hey there - I haven't seen one of these cauliflowers for ages, I had forgotten how beautiful they are. As alwasy, wonderful photos.
Cookie-crumb mentioned that it looked like a bouquet, which reminded me of a wedding I was best man at, and the brides bouquet was made entirely of vegetables, and it was incredible. They even got a second surprise, as when they got back from honeynoon, it had flowered.
