Oh my, I love the sound of this. I would skip the bread, but the combination of the brussels sprouts, balsamic vinegar, and goats cheese sounds divine.

well, I have taken time out in preparing my home for bush fires that are raging in the valley behind my home...
and I see this food! It makes me THAT hungry really... B.e.a.u.t.f.u.l.

Mmm! I'm falling in love with Brussels sprouts! I didn't particularly like them as a child, but lately they've been ending up in my grocery cart quite often! These sound excellent - I like the combination with goat cheese.

Ah... you had me with you all the way until the moment you introduced the vegetable of the devil...bleargh.
Sorry but the thought of sprouts in any shape or form just takes me back to having the life bolied out of them by mad Irish Nuns then served with lunch. They made us healthy all right, just the running around the table whilst being chased by one of said nuns brandishing a spoonful of grey gloop masquerading as a vegetable, was enough to keep you fit :o)
Amazing photography, yet again. I'm always amazed by your colors and back drops, let alone the food. It's nice to see the much maligned Brussel Sprouts be elevated to such an impressively honored crostini!

Like Michelle, I am growing to like the much maligned brussel sprout. My tales of woe have put my children off them though! Can I just ask - are they braised in the oven or on the hob?
