Lucullian delights

Gravatar I've printed the recipe and I'll be buying the ingredients this week. Just another fabulous recipe and beautiful post, Ilva! I'm going to serve mine in the big pasta shells too.

Gravatar See Pille's recent post about "Azu, the Tatar meat stew" to which she adds adjika, or ajvar, which are very similar to what you made.

Gravatar Yum!

Paz

Gravatar Pene- I have eaten ajvar but I find it quite different from this but the roasted pepper is a common denominator!

As always your blog offers such enticing recipes and wonderful photographs!

The Syrians have a dip called mahammarah- which is not dissimilar- they use walnuts which seems to marry very nicely with peppers- and they also use a mixture of fresh and roasted peppers. I fyou ar einterested I have a recipe somewhere- but it tatstes sensational!

melissa-dear melissa, a big hug to you too! I hope you're ok!

Dianka-thanks!

Dijanne-oh that sounds absolutely delicious! If you happen to have the time, I would be happy to see it!
