OOh I love a challenge - be prepared for kitchen photos :o)
What an interesting ceiling! And the piece of ironwork is a great focal point! The new parquet floor of my kitchen was laid last week & now the cupboards are being assembled. I'm a little frustrated as the oven & stove aren't connected. But hopefully soon it'll be finished.
Okay so this one got me out of RSS and onto the blog! I sooo wanted to see Ilva's kitchen!
I guess one of the things I often think about when I'm visiting cousins or sons, is how exciting it is to cook in different kitchens. And then when I started blogging, I always find a few that I'd just love to cook with in their kitchens. Yours is certainly one I'd love to be in and cook with you.
I'll certainly do a post on my kitchen for your round up but it may take me a week.
Needless to say I love your photos and your kitchen!

I love your kitchen it is so homey and wonderful to imagine you creating your beautiful food in there. I like that it makes me feel like a fancy fish in a bowl on the table...
Interesting! My mum had a kitchen where we had garlic and bags of onions hanging from chains, also the pots and pans and things used regularly around the kitchen...
Most of the furnitire was scrubbed pine.... beams....etc! reminds me of home!

I'm sorry Ilva, but I've looked and looked, and I just can't understand what I'm seeing in your photos. They make no "sense" to me! I must be the only one. I do hope you post more (read "better") photos of your kitchen. I love the idea of a kitchen post. If the sun ever comes out again, I'll shoot mine and post it.
I'm with Sally, I can't make out so much detail! I know people who have lavish kitchens, yet never cook in them. Makes no sense at all.
If the sun pops out tomorrow, I'll snap a pic of mine as well.
sally and s'kat-I'm with you all the way! I just wanted to give a hint of what its like because as I wrote it's always in such disorder but I promise to shoot real some ones when I manage to keep it in order for more that 10 minutes!! And I do hope you will show my your kitchens, I'm looking forward to that.
Oh!! I turned my head side-ways and I saw it! LOL Ok, but I would STILL like to "really" see it. And who cares if it's disorderly. You have chidren (I assume) and a life. You cook in it when it's disorderly. This isn't some Better Homes and Gardens magazine shoot - it's YOUR kitchen. Go for it lady!

I agree seeing food bloggers kitchens may be more interesting than their faces.
