Gravatar Over and over again, your photos and ideas are amazing ilva. This is really simply beautiful.

Gravatar Mmmm, I'll try some when the spring onions arrive in our grocery stores. Too early for them yet.

Gravatar I am certain i could live at your house happily ever after!!

Gravatar Ilva, yesterday I gingercandied some slices of shallot, just because half a shallot wa lying about. I thought it weird, but I like dishes with onions, so I gladly take note of your recipe.

Gravatar Wow! These look gorgeous, I'm going to cook these!

Gravatar I agree, simplicity can be sublime...as long as you have the freshest ingredients, just some seasoning and you've got a tasty dish.

Gravatar Your photographs are exquisite, your recipes delectable! Thank you so much!

Gravatar Hey there - thanks for your comment Ilva, you made me laugh, pity my 2000th remained anonymous..oh well!

I was torn between the oranges and the Spring onions, as I love them both in equal measures. Blood oranges are a real favourite. Try them sliced in wedges with either a little sea salt or balsamic vinegar sprinkled on them,

As for Spring onions, they have to be one of my most used ingredient. Right, I'm off for the first coffee of the day, ok second

Gravatar Tanna-there's nothing new under the sun but I think that the good ideas get born or recycled again and again.

Britt Arnhild-I really like onions, especially fresh ones!
