Ilva--I love your crust! It's fantastic--so dark and crisp/chewy looking. It makes me want to rip off a hunk and grab a thick slice of cheese to go with it.
Looks really good. You can't lose by joining a group like this.

I'm baking croissant filled with chocolate tonight. I am going to a funeral tomorrow, and a long drive to and from with two colleages, so I am packing a lunch basket for the three of us.....with alot of bread and coffee

Oh good, another group to follow you through with out the commitment of joining except for when possible. Thank you for choosing one of my favorites too, bread. I get into the same rut as you too, just making the bread and not experimenting. So it's really nice to know when one works out well. Mille grazie Ilva!

I can relate to that group thing (I have a strong dislike for sports clubs), however, don't dwell on it for too long - as long as you enjoy these groups you joing, everything is fine. Sometimes, it's best to just go along with your gut feeling (and how appropriate is that for such a great cook as you are) and not to overanalyze things more than necessary. And that bread - simply gorgeous!!
