I've got a glass jar of fennel seeds, but have only added them to various stews until now. However, this soup sounds really delicious - the combination of peas, spinach and fennel seeds is intriguing..

I've never heard of fennel seed powder!
The fennel addition to the soup sounds lovely. I guess I do tend to think of fennel as Italian...

I'm so happy you like it, I love fennel seeds and I 'grind' them in a blender to get the fennel powder, it's great to put in bread!
