Lucullian delights

Gravatar I love the delicate green colour. So lovely.

Gravatar yum, sounds delicious, i love lassi, avocados and ginger!

Avocados are in season now so i'll be givin this one a try

Gravatar Mmm...I have many avocados available to me here and so I am definitely trying this! That middle picture is the epitome of "calm" - it's beautiful.

Gravatar It really looks amazing and zen-tastic!

Gravatar It sounds good. I feel exactly as you do about Indian cooking; for some reason I feel like I don't know how to do it. But I did make mango lassi once, although of course I have no idea if it tastes the way it should!

Gravatar As I read your post I started wondering how it might have tasted: avocado and ginger. What an unusual combination!

Gravatar Have you tried using rose water? I've never seen edible rose oil..Let me know if you find some..most intriguing..I once added a dash of rosewater to a strawberry icecream I was making..The strawberries themselves were a bit insipid- the rosewater added the fragrance which was lacking and the result was heavenly..XXX

Gravatar Dragon-Thanks!

Chantal-thanks, I hope you will like it!

Michelle-stop, I don't want to hear about all the nice things you have over there in Hawaii, I am so envious....

Colloquial cook-thank you!

Kalyn-thanks, well, we try our best!

valentina-it is nice because there's honey to sweeten it, the ginger gives some zing to the avocado!

Paul-yes maybe I should try it, I just thought that it is too weak but maybe I am wrong! Thanks and big mwha! Sorry for being so lousy in keeping in touch baby, can you forgive me?

Gravatar Oooh, yes - Rosewater is what most indian restaurants use in their lassi's, I believe. If they don't have any available where you live, you shouldn't have any trouble ordering it online. =)

I have a really hard time doing anything aside from just eating plain avocado, because they are so magical on their own...but this looks great - i may need to try it!

Gravatar Dawn-Thanks, I should be able to find it I think and next spring I will try to make my own!

Gravatar How unusual but it looks so light and refreshing. Maybe you can use Rose nectar or rose water?

Gravatar How unusual and refreshing. I imagine you could use Rose water or nectar ?

Gravatar I've never had lassi, can you believe? Love the delicate green colour of this one - very soothing!
