It's very interesting this blog thing, and sometimes a fine line to walk. How to keep them so that they do not reveal too much or cause offence but still retain an essence that is true to you and not become a Disney version of life. I think you do a great job with yours. Ciao

So easy but stunning indeed!
Makes me want to have some pear with blue cheese, although I don't know if blue cheese would stick to the pear like parmesan does.

Hi Ilva..I think you do a great job on here, beautiful photos, great recipes, I think your neighbours are happy.
I think I am destined to go to Apulia, it keeps coming up in certain areas, blog reading, web browsing..can't make up my mind.

Pears are very cheap in Spain now and I do have sesame seeds & parmesan cheese in the refrigerator Gonna try this one out soon!

Great idea! I press the baller really, really firmly into the fruit before turning it, and then sort of spin it to carve out the little ball. It seems to work well for me.
