Lucullian delights

Gravatar This is so beautiful and so festive, perfect for the oncoming season.

Gravatar That sounds like a fine quick (or last-minute) dessert, if one happens to have Prosecco on hand. I suppose some other sweet wine or liquor would do, though.

I'd eat anything to which cardamom's been added. I just love that spice! I added some to a pear clafoutis the other night.

I'm amazed that you have time to keep up with the demands of your blog, with all that you're otherwise doing.

Gravatar I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, Ilva!

I love simple desserts like this. Apple cooked in Prosecco sounds great, I'll have to try it out. And by the way, very beautiful glasses!

Gravatar Now that is funny Ilva! I posted about Prosecco last night. What is that they say about great minds.... or maybe too much wine?

Gravatar I am going to give it a go!

Gravatar Wow! Looks good!

Best,
Paz

Gravatar Hmm, leftover Prosecco? I never have left over bubbly..hips! Looks very very festive!

Gravatar Yum - would that work with champagne, or is it not sweet enough?
And fingers crossed.

Gravatar Oh me gawd!!! This must be a gift from above. It is so hot here that I'm melting and this seems to be just perfect!!

Gravatar ok will keep my fingers crossed ! but why and how long ??!
Corinne

Gravatar I adore Prosecco and the idea of cooking it down with fruit sound so lovely. And I don't think I've ever heard of frying up cake. Genius!

Gravatar When I come to Venezia, one of the first things I do is to order prosecco.
Thanks for this recipe.

Gravatar Your shots are so beautifully colour coordinated.

Have to say, I love the bit where you say you had half a bottle of prosecco and nothing to do with it. See, I'd have just drunk it!! But you created a masterpiece - brava.

Gravatar Labelga-Thanks, it must be party girl in me!

Lilian-thanks! Yes cardamom is one of my favourites, just sticking my nose into it to take a good sniff of it makes me happy! Wish there was a pure cardamom perfume!

Maya-Thanks! I got these glasses from my parents stuff, I always loved them!

mary-oh we think alike, I better check it out!

Simon-great! Say hello to the jeep!

paz-xxxxx

bakemyday-just proves how boring I am getting...

morganmous-try it and if it seems to un-sweet, add a little sugar!

Jacoba-thanks!

corinne-thanks, I am back now after two deadlines for these magazines.

Erinne-thanks a lot!

Britt-Arnhild-and then you site there slowly sipping it! What an hedonist you are for being a Skandinav!

casalba-Thank you, I appreciate that you like that aspect. as to the prosecco, I couldn't just drink all on my own could I? well I could have but i didn't. What a bore I am

Gravatar Ilva, You always make the simpliest of ingredients stand out in amazement!!

Gravatar This sounds delicious and probably is. Worth a try! You are a modern Cajsa Warg
Margareta
