Lucullian delights

Gravatar Goodness that is so inviting with the spoon already waiting for me!

Gravatar Yes, I agree with Tanna. This looks very inviting. I want to be sitting in your kitchen enjoying this now.

Congrats on picking a submission for your entry. You're already a winner in my book.

Paz

Gravatar mmmm, soup! Nice touch with the lemon. We have to wait for another few months to see the small "ronde de Nice" zucchini, as they are often called here. Great about you picking up weekend herb blogging. I liked reading the posts and your pictures with herbs (such as that last one with herbs in a glass).

Gravatar Hooray, that was the photo I voted for! Lovely entry for WHB, and you're right, the popularity of this has completely astonished me. Right now there are hosts lined for for more than six months in advance!

I love the close-up photo of the oregano, and it's making me long for herbs from the garden again. We're finally getting a few warm days, but not warm enough for anything to really start to grow, not yet.

Gravatar I like the small courgette 'bowl' on the third picture - very inviting!

Gravatar Think so too (cf Pille). Thanks for your comment on intuitive cooking on my blog!

Gravatar I would definitely keep these photos in mind for the next contest you enter. I think they are really beautiful.

Gravatar I absolutely love your idea about the zucchini bowl. I have done this for other squashes but I have no idea why I never made the transition. I hope you don't mind me stealing this one, it is defintely going into my folder of ideas...thanks

Gravatar It's cute and elegant at the same time. You get away with anything, don't you.
As for measurements: absolutely no cups, please, unless you want to publish your book in the US. As for dl for liquid and volume measurement, it is confusing for anyone outside Scandinavia. Well, what about good old ml, dl and l for liquid, g and kg for weight? Spoonfuls still remain there to confuse us...

Gravatar I'm smiling as I look at this, you have such a way of capturing the essence of an ingredient in a recipe and it's photo.

Gravatar What a beautiful little photograph! Even my husband who is not a zucchini fan can appreciate a good photo.

Gravatar Tanna-You are welcome!

Paz-thanks, you are the sweetest!

Gravatar Ilva, your photos, as always, are just gorgeous. Terrific presentation! And the soup sounds fabulous. We have some fresh oregano in the fridge...I might have to break it out for this purpose. Sounds delightful!
