Even if I do not make the recipe you feature, there is something in the pairings that always make me rethink the "main ingredient"- like this tart. I did try the bashful gluten-free banana bread and we thought it was wonderful, maybe more like a clafoutis? We did do a few adjustments: 1 extra banana, drained yogurt (in lieu of sourcream) and a corn syrup/maple syrup subtitution for the golden syrup. Thanks!

In fact, my dad was just complaining that I hadn't posted any pictures of him, yet. I said that his mom hasn't even gotten married, yet, in the chronology, so to jump the gun and insert his picture at this point would make the family gossip look much juicier than it really is!

Oh, the moment I set my foot out of town, I miss this wonderful if somewhat reproachful introduction. Thanks for mentioning me here! You are quite right, I am notoriously lazy but that is not the whole reason for the shorter English posts. The two posts are not identical, but thoughts on the same subject matter. The English post is shorter because I write it after the Hungarian and my inspiration gets tired. I should sometimes do it the other way around!
