A wonderful story to which I can totally relate to. There are a few people in our lives that make us feel comfortable and offer a net for us so that we never fall to far. With this security we feel like we belong. Your recipe is delicious looking and sounding. I find the addition of hazelnuts brilliant!
completely clear your two stories ! The first one reminded me a question to my friend getting married : how did you know he is the right guy ??? Her answer : you'll know when it'll happen... and it happenned and I'm married for 18 years and never regretted it !

When I come here it is not only to read your recipe and get ideas for my cooking. It is just as much enjoying your china and your fabrics/backgrouds 
two things - the recipe is divine, and secondly, I fully understand what you are saying, but I don't know why that is too, but my man does exactly the same thing for me, a sort of grounding. Strange isn't it

Ilva the day your writing is a mess, I'll eat my hat (they're all big and would be very bad to eat). I feel perfectly safe that I won't be eating any of my hats. But I'll be happy to be eating this beef and snap beans.
Places can bring out different things in us so it always is a wonder when everything can change when a person turns everything around in the same place. Yes, I can easily relate to your story. Some people are just right for you. We're so lucky when we can surround and get the right people into our lives.
