Lucullian delights

Gravatar Just beautiful! I love how that first photo looks like an exotic flower!

Gravatar Simple...gorgeous...delish!

Gravatar Good food and good photography, what more could we ask for? Thank you, Ilva.

Gravatar This eggplant looks amazing. As a vegetarian, this recipe looks really enticing. I am catering a retreat soon and I am considering making these!

Gravatar The hardest part of blogging is writing the first three sentences! (The eggplant looks delish!)

Gravatar Ann-Thanks!

Peter-thank you too!

Toffeeapple-Well maybe more sense now and then! Thanks!

Kate- Thanks, and I'll take a look!

Kalyn-Yes, definitely! (Thanks!)

Gravatar that looks awesome. reminds me of yakitori and i've only at the begining of last year discovered my love for aubergine! mmmm. gotta try this on the bbq some time soon.

Gravatar What a lovely way to sneak in a veggie!
(some days I can't get three words, let alone Kalyn's 3 sentences!)

Gravatar i have a little idea, slice japanese eggplant lengthwise, heat it in olive oil on one side, remove from pan, pat mixture on warm side roll and proceed with your recipe. i am cooking for one, so a smaller eggplant appeals. will let you know what happens.

Gravatar I too like that first picture. This would be grat on the grill this weekend.

Gravatar beautiful, Ilva.

Gravatar Thanks again! I am happy you seem to like it!

Gravatar Had to laugh when I read this - I often find myself in this boat!! Some dishes have a natural story attached to them, but the problem children don't. I often start an intro, and 2 paragraphs in I scrap it totally and go off on another direction. And sometimes I desperately envy people who made it celar from the start of their blog that you get the recipe and nothing but the recipe

The melanzane rolls look fantastic - definitley bookmarking this one!
