mm, Ilva, lovely soouop. I may make that for Easter, which I spend by myself (luxury) and by cleaning a garden of contruction debris. The din of three children seems like music, no?

I have all those ingredients in my kitchen, so I'm going to make that soup right now! I know it's going to be just the kind of dish I like.

OK, it's a little more than one hour later and I have made it, eaten it and loved it! Even did my dishes already.
After I blended it I added a couple of tablespoons of cooked basmati rice simply because I had it on hand and because I wanted to make it more filling - a complete and delicious meal. Thank you, Ilva. You solved my dinner dilemma

Good idea! I just bother how to cook the fresh organic fennel. Is it possible to keep the leaves dried and make something likes herbs? How?

Siufa- I don't think so, they don't have enough taste when they are dried but wild fennel has!

You have really inspired me to cook healthy and look at food differently. I have made this soup and making it again today. I love love love the white bean and fennel soup also. My favorite food bloggers are you and La Tartine Gouramde and both sites really have changed my way of looking at food and cooking. I think you are both sisters in your way of life.
Thank you so much.
