Lucullian delights

Gravatar Sounds yummy, and not boring at all!

Gravatar Sounds great... I enjoy reading your ramblings about life, Ilva. You put it forward in such a way that it doesn't sound selfish or self-centered and yet you manage to convey the human need for a little of both. So keep it coming with your great recipes....and yes we all need comfort food in this not so perfect world.

Gravatar What is tapioca pearls? I've never heard of them.

Gravatar Wow- so beautiful and fragrantly spicy I'm sure and I love Tapioca!

Gravatar i love tapioca pearls! we call them 'sago' in southeast asia. and that looks absolutely divine. such beautiful pictures.

Gravatar If boredom creates such imaginative recipes, please be bored more often. This recipe is really so unusual and new for me, I will try it as soon as possible!

Gravatar DaviMack-thanks!

Murasaki-yes, isn't it horrible? I am ashamed....

Britt-Arnhild-tapioca pearls are tapioca in the form of small balls, like Sagogryn that you can find in Sweden, maybe also in Norway?

Gabi-Thanks a lot!

diva-thank you, sago, I will remember that!

Sisah-oh that was nice of you to say, thanks!

mybellesmom-Thanks!

anne-well maybe you should try it this way, there's a lot of sting in it!

Paz-thank you my friend!

Gravatar Fantastic shots...really yummy too

Gravatar I love these "before and after" shots. The texture of that glass, too--and the way the pudding is just spilling over the lip of the glass...

Gravatar I've never eaten tapioca, a little too much like frogspawn for me, but this has got me 'almost' tempted.

Gravatar wow.. I do love these pictures and their colours!

Gravatar Thanks a lot, I'm really happy you like the photos!

Gravatar I didn't know tapioca could look so beautiful

Gravatar Do you knoiw, I don't think I've ever had tapioca - spiced up or otherwise!! I do know that I adore the pictures - really lovely

Gravatar Wow this is a great recipe and the photos are amazing. I just made it with some new spices that I was given and I couldn't believe how delicious it was! Has anyone tried Tsp Spices? They're so great because they come packaged by the teaspoon, and then in larger tins so they stay fresh and you only open what you use. It's so clever! I love the idea of spicing up tapioca because I got to try out my new spices. I think the website is www.tspspices.com if anyone is interested.

Gravatar I tried making this with a slight modification since I can't find candied ginger here.

I put slices of fresh ginger into the brew just so it would have a nice ginger flavor and then I threw in candied orange peel because you can get those in Spain very easily.

It tasted great :D

Thanks for the recipe again, Ilva.
