Lucullian delights

Gravatar that looks great! I was looking for a blueberry recipe but im going to try this instead! love the thin crust!

Gravatar A little bit more of Ilva is always a good thing

Gravatar Almond flour, rosemary in a crust,
ginger with the berry mix.
Ilva, what did you think,
publishing this on a Sunday (!!!!!),
when I would have to go to the train station, or to the airport, to get all the ingredients together? I shall dream of that tart until tomorrow morning, and at the crack of dawn, I shall had to the wholesaler's markets ....
Oh well, tomorrow night,
I shall do some baking.
You did it again!

(Have I ever told you that I converted at least half a dozen friends to eat jogurt with ginger and saffron and cardamom? *g*)

Gravatar Please one little slide ! no thank you without cream ! Merci.....

Gravatar Considering your year its understandble that you retreated a bit socially. You speak through your photos. This is a great social reentry and we all would love a slice.

Gravatar I do agree that Jeanne seems just lovely doesn't she? Maybe when we are touring around Europe together we shall stop and visit her! (See how the plans expand. This is in the future when we both have a lot more money!)

Gravatar Maybe I can entice you to share photos of your pantry for Other People's Pantries?

Gravatar oh yum that looks pretty, ilva!!

Gravatar Wow, Ilva, this is really perfect, as have a lot of berries to do something with. Thanks!

Gravatar All of those lovely berries!
I think the area we are moving to is going to have nicer markets so maybe I will be able to find more foods...
This is such farm country, that if it's not in your own garden it's not easy to find... But I am going to have lots of bramble berries in a few weeks.
I totally understand about blog friends... Now if I could only figure out how to explain them to non-bloggers/non-computer people... Who tend to think I am living in a 'virtual world' and need help. Little do they know!

Gravatar Flavor-Thanks, you could adapt it to blueberries only!

Maryanne-Thanks, you are sweet!

Merisi-well, you know that it is good for your character to wait now and then. But not too long. I do think this is something in your taste and if not, you will be able to adapt it! hugs

corinne-ok! you are like me, I too prefer cakes and tarts without cutard or cream.

Courtney-you are so nice, thanks a lot!

Kalyn-go on planning, we have to dream about something don't we?!

Lydia-yes why not! I'll send you something when I have something ready!

arfi-Thanks a lot!

Labelga-Oh I hope you will like it!

Katie-well one day we should take a train each of us and meet up in the middle, we do live rather close don't we? One boring winter day....

Gravatar Oh Ilva! I'm blushing and smiling and getting teary all at once! What lovely things to read on my first day back from holidays - it softens the blow of returnign to harsh reality And the funny thing is that what I love about your blog is very much what you say about mine - I love your willingness to share your thoughts with us, and always in such a charming way. And of course, I am deeply envious of your classy, inspiring, gorgeous photos!

This tart looks glorious and I adore the idea of a rosemary crust. This is definitely going on the to do list - and I'm deeply honoured that you chose WTSIM to relaunch your blogging social life

Gravatar Delicious! A big dollop of creme fraiche for me to go with this! X

Gravatar Jeanne-Thanks, now it's you being kind baby! And I am happy to WTSIM my way through life!

Paul-good idea!XXX

Gravatar Ilva I don't think I've ever seen a richer berry anything. Gosh I'd love to share a slice of this! I'm thinking this would travel well. A bunch of us virtuals could carry a tart like this and wine on a train and have some amazing fun. Plan, dream, whatever . . . one day real!

Gravatar This looks and sounds like heaven on a plate. All those flavours together? Wow. I can't wait to try this one. Well done.

Gravatar Beautiful, superb flavors combo

Gravatar Thanks again!

Gravatar Great idea with the use of rosemary in the crust. Really nice twist and now I'm really interested in trying it!

Gravatar Jude-Thanks, I do hope you like it!

Gravatar I have just left a comment saying how i'll participate in HotM this month with a slimmer dinner... but i will have to indulge in this beautiful tart before! it's not my fault, either - it's Andrew who's "condemned" me to make something of "WTSIM berried treasure" and just could NOT resist this amazing tart! thanks for the recipe, I am usually too lazy to make my own crust, but in order to get the rosemary in, I will make an exception!
