But what she said is true. I believe that your mindset tends to have a great effect on what happens to you. Nigerians abroad should learn to love the country.
I do not think the criticism from Nigerians abroad is because of hatred or lack of patriotism for Nigeria. I and many others, do in fact have a lot of love for the country visit every now and then and follow issues more fervently. We have come to see things in ways that many back home don't.
Yes, but during my many arguments in places like Nairaland, I've come to realise that most Nigerians in the diaspora are more interested in promoting sectional interests rather than national ones.
It is not unusual for disucussions on fora/forums to be slanted and quickly go out of focus; the nature of that medium permits it. And frankly I personally do not pay a lot of attention to what happens there. Most Nigerian blogs are balanced in opinion and with serious contents.
