I just wanted to share a great success story with other PWI grantees. One of our participants is a young woman who had undergone a pancreas & liver transplant and due to other issues became blind. She was placed with a home improvement retailer as a switchboard operator and is doing well on her job. We discovered that her SSA benefits determination was based on the organ transplants not her visual impairment, so we helped her to retify that situation. She was a guest speaker at a BAC meeting and provided members with the opportunity to meet a PWI program participant. Through her hard work and determination, she recently purchased her 1st home. Keep up the good work grantees. We are making a difference in the lives of those that we serve!

We just found a QuickBooks Trainer that comes to people's homes to do training. We are helping a MS patient who is immobile stay current with technology to make herself more marketable. Everyone involved is excited about this opportunity.
