Like you, I persist in regarding voting as moral responsibility, despite the frustrations of the electoral system. (The description of your early experiences with the existential mystery of voting is really interesting, btw.) Friends are having a party on Tuesday night, and we're invited to stick around until the results are in. Like you, however, I fear it's going to be weeks before the results (or "results") emerge...

Let's hope not. And let's not yet give up hope. I, for one, am grateful that you're participating in the system!
