We both wrote library-related posts today. It's no wonder we're friends.

I have Quicksilver and The Confusion on my table. The System of the World is on my wish list. I haven't made it past page 32 of Quicksilver yet, though, and it's been sitting there since last christmas, which is when I bought the damn thing for myself. So, let me know what happens because I'm sure you'll finish the whole Baroque Cycle before I get to page 33.

I've got holds on both, but just picked up two 'Sharpe's' adventures to last me through the next while. I vow not to touch them except for at bedtime, though, because I actually have to read Jude and Fathers and Sons for class ...

Good for you! Let us know what you think of the books. Haven't had the courage to start the Baroque Cycle yet, though I've enjoyed NS's other books.

Almost all the books I'm reading now were recommended by bloggers. Guess I have turned a corner somewhere.
