I get Mrs a lot on the phone too, possibly because I'm listed in the directory as Dr Bird. Woman answers: caller thinks it's the doctor's wife.

I think I might hate having to call 800 customer-service numbers even more, though.
Was she in India? All the customer service people I've spoken with recently seem to be in India, and they are all so dang polite I feel bad about calling and bothering them. (And every time I hear "Mrs" I wonder who they are talking about, even though I am technically a "Mrs" and will probably get that title a lot more as my kids enter public school.)
