I've had similar dreams. I have no idea what they mean, but I remember feeling good about the flying at the time.

It's been a long time since I've had a flying dream, but I certainly can see why they'd be taken as good omens--they're so much fun!

I haven't had a flying dream in a long while either but love it when I do. On nights when I have them, I usually wake up feeling energetic and free.

What a great attitude to your dream! I used to have flying dreams a lot - somewhere along the lines they morphed into running dreams, i.e. I could run for miles and miles without getting tired. Much better than the other kind where your feet don't want to leave the ground.

Fun! Flying dreams are a kick. I just try to enjoy them when I get them!

I sometimes have almost-flying dreams. In the dream, a friend of mine has made these wings and he is flying all around and then he tells me that he made me a pair and he tries to get me to fly, but I'm always too scared and so I just sit in the sun and think, maybe next time, and then I wake up.
