When I came up with my "most loved/most challenging" pose Yoga class concept, it literally flew out of my mouth in the opening comments/settling in portion of my penultimate class of the session. After it flew out of my head/mouth, I thought about it for a split second and decided I wasn't completely full of the brown stuff. I discussed it with my teacher/friend later (after I had actually had the class in question), and she said, "You know - sometimes stuff like that just comes. It was good, you trusted it, it worked. It's as much a part of teaching as a thorough lesson plan."
Wise words, as far as I'm concerned. It sounds as if the muse was speaking to you today. I would love to take your class!
I love the kind of teaching day when everything goes well ....
