what my SIL did in dealing with a garang MIL (my mom la, who else??) is to make a downpayment for an apartment nearby and my brother then moved dengan excuse, 'hidup bina keluarga sendiri', which is a very valid excuse.

i have my strong opinions about staying with parents/parents-in-law but i don't exactly know your entire situation and i wouldn't say much due to that.

i'm sure you have thought of all these long before you guys tied the knot and i admire you for your strength. take it one day at a time, ya.
