Hi,

I was lucky enough to visit the BT Tower recently (the Post Office Tower for us old farts) and wondered about the structure to the North that looked like the London Eye in it's half raised state. Is this the new Wembley arch you mention.

Mmmm, cheers for the background on ye metroblogs and ye Suicide Girls and the like. Myself, I feel a certain aversion to any gal with (as Pulp Fiction had it) "[metal] shit in [their] face", but it's comforting to have a political context for aesthetic prejudices too.

No, seriously, you get a great view of the arch because all the signals are screwed - everything moves v slowly. You can gawp (and I mean gawp, it is an amazing sight) as this huge freestanding arch looms above the rooftops.
