I suspect that Parkinson left Llera on to hope that his game would improve and his confidence would not be battered by being taken off for playing so badly. Sadly if this was the case it backfired, and the cheer when he went off will probably test his resolve the next time he pulls on the shirt.

He has made a decent enough start for Charlton, but he really did have a shocker tonight.

It really is a worry that he didn't substitute him at half time - we've been here before with managers. And Shelvey is definitely not playing as well. I hope PP has the strength to change it on Saturday.
As for whoever built a football ground there - well, it must have been a man - although I guess they don't normally get more than a few thousand.
