Have to say Hagin is growing on me and he has a way of getting a feel for what is about to happen during a game. I think the problem in the begining for Hagin was his generic mid America voice and the fact that he has held a few jobs around the ML.
What will be interesting to watch is if Gary Cohen goes in the radio booth in the post season a la 2006

Yes, everything you said made me wary of Hagin. He's a journeyman announcer, let's face it. But, he's not bad. And the fact that he's not a hometown boy provides a bit of perspective at times. All of us know that Howie has the same thoughts and fears we have, but Hagin is a little cooler.
