I'm so sorry to hear about the house problems - sounds to me as though your surveyors ought to be sued. I'm furious on your behalf - that sort of thing shouldn't happen! But I will cross my fingers and light my candles in hopes that things will work out well for you!

We are having a lazy summer here.
We opted this year not to go anywhere for our vacation except for a camping trip we took in June and a Fiber Arts Symposium I went to last week, we have mostly stayed around the house to get some long needed work done on it.
Although I did just sign up for spinning lessons so I am really looking forward to that!
I miss blueberry season in New England. We have good blueberries here but they are just not as sweet as the New England ones!
I sure hope all goes okay with your new place. Red tape and City Hall are the worst!

The doily is gorgeous! Sorry about all the headaches with the house. It will all get worked out eventually. It's just disappointing when things don't go according to plan, especially when the mistakes are out of your control.
