Thunder Matt's Saloon
This is my first visit to this site and I quickly decided it won't be my last for two reasons.
#1. The obvious. I too put incredible amounts of faith in Matt Murton. I once walked on a beach with a guy who said he was Matt Murton's cousin for that reason alone.
#2. The Dude abides.

I think Matt is an awesome player and does't get the credit he should! He is by far my favorite cubs player!!!!
The one good thing about Matt being with the Iowa Cubs is that he was in Omaha these past few days. My lttle three year old was yelling his name while he was stretching. After he was done he came up to my son and gave him five! He also was so kind enough to let me get a picture of him with my son!(I also was wearing my Thunder Matts Saloon shirt) A perfect Gentleman!!! He also had an awesome game!! Go Matt!!!

I think so, he did'nt say, but he did smile!! that was good enough for me!
Could you please tell me if Murton is ccoming back to play on the Chicago team any time soon? I've been looking for info on the web and have found nothing. Thanks for your time.

Hilary I really don't know when Matt will be back. Right now there seems to be plenty of outfielders in Chicago with Soriano, Jones, Floyd, and Pagan all playing. Perhaps there will be some trades that will allow him back up, otherwise it may not be until September when teams can expand their rosters.
