That bottom picture of Harden got me all hot and bothered. The caption there is right on. I could totally see Harden cruising up to some sorority chick at a bar and dropping that line. I wouldn't mind having Harden, even if his track record looks a little Prioresque. I'm still very infatuated with the idea of somehow prying Zack Greinke from the Royals. While I'm dreaming, let's get the Lahay kid from them as well. Greinke's what, 24, and just as loopy as El Toro Loco. Match made in heaven.
I don't trust Greinke in a playoff push. He's certainly never been in that position before, and is already a proven headcase.
Harden would be fantastic, of course, but Beane is one of the brightest guys out there. Look how he raped the Diamondbacks in the Haren trade. He'll be looking for nearly as much in return for Harden. I don't think the Cubs have the talent he's looking for. The Cubs do, however, have the talent that would land Joe Blanton. I think Blanton might have a chance to thrive in the NL. I'd rather have Harden of course, I just think it's going to take some slick maneuvering to make it happen.
let's get to the important question: if murton goes to oakland (or is included in any trade we make), will this website name change?
you also forgot that adding Sabathia to the team they need to add more support to the infield if the combo of Fielder and him are playing.

Rest assured, there is a contingency plan for Murton's imminent trade.
