Well, except that Adam Dunn doesn't chase nearly as many bullshit pitches.
God, I hope we don't lose his speed.

I think Wrigleyville is getting their panties up in a bunch for no reason.
A- Lou just said it's an experiment
B- Lou said it's just until Soriano gets comfortable with his legs
C- Lou always tinkers with lineups
D- Could be a precursor to the Roberts deal as now the Cubs are apparently willing to include Ceda in the deal. My gut feeling is that Roberts will be a Cub by this time next week.
Relax people, Soriano is not going to bat 2nd and he is going to start stealing bases.

Well just after I write my comment I run across this in the Sun-Times...
"Either way, the Cubs are trying to prepare for whatever look their roster might have by the end of the month, and that preparation includes easing Soriano into a possible change -- which as of Thursday was the No. 2 spot until further notice but more likely would be No.3 if a leadoff hitter is acquired.
But privately, a team source confirmed, Piniella also doesn't want to wait until the final days of camp to spring a lineup move on Soriano, especially after a brief conversation they had early in camp about possible places Soriano might move."
Say hello to Mr. Roberts.

Actually, Adam Dunn has had an OBP in the .370's the last few years. So technically, we've got Adam Dunn without all those pesky walks

Soriano will run, but also keep in mind that for many basestealing OF's, there is a natural progression of stealing less and less each year once they reach a certain age.
Nonetheless, I thought we were all in agreement that Soriano shouldn't be batting leadoff anyway.
