-Was it just me or was Hamilton blatantly hitting on Erin Andrews throughout? His line about not remembering much of his 'dream' except for talking to her was a pickup line of the highest order if I've ever heard one.

-Normally I cringe at the Jesus talk, but hey, if that's what it takes to keep you off the smack, who am I to hold that against you?

Also, you gotta love the youthful exhuberance that Hamilton displayed. He was like a kid out there. Smiling, kind of cocky and even slightly in awe of himself. Unfortunately, he probably didn't realize how much 38 (!) home run cuts take out of you physically and by the last round he was drained.

I think a change in the format is in order. I heard one suggestion on XM yesterday that sounded good. Keep the first round as is, but only take the top two. Eliminate the second round entirely. Then have the two finalists battle out in 9 innings. Each guy gets three outs an inning. That would be much more entertaining and guys wouldn't be nearly as gassed by the final round. I love the Derby but it really loses steam after the first round.
