Zambrano has a better ERA and WHIP than Dempster and Harden. But of course, because he's louder than them, he gets singled out by the likes of Phil Rogers and other ignorant Cubs fans.

The article was bad enough. The fact that 57.1% of readers agreed with him in today's Trib is worse.

I agree with this post 1,000%. Our entire pitching staff, Zambrano included, has done a commendable job of keeping the Cubs in most of these games. But they need offensive support, and that doesn't all fall on Bradley. Would you all prefer that he simply hung his head and took a seat on the bench after a strikeout? He's passionate and he always has been, get over it.

And just where are the articles decrying the sorry state of our bullpen? Marmol? Gregg? Heilman? These names ring a bell?

I think for most, but not Phil Rogers, it's supreme frustration. The fact is the Cubs have a lot of big contract guys that aren't putting up their expected numbers.

I agree. Zambrano and Bradley are not the problems. I also agree with you on Soriano. Compared to Bradley, Soriano shows little effort and never looks like he cares if the Cubs win or lose.

Give me a guy who has a bit of a temper and hates to lose over a guy that flashes a smile after an error or lazy play in the field.

I really like the part about limpdick. This is an area that I feel I can confidently speak about. The cubs' offense has been more limpdick than that Bobbett fellow from the 90's and I heard he was in a pornography film once. Also, what is the deal with sweet lou? Does anyone else feel like your listening to a full on retard during his post game?
