Of the quotes cited, including the use of "shit" in the most recent quote, only one could with any degree of accuracy even remotely be termed "cursing".
The "just a goddamned piece of paper" remark about the Constitution (which I hadn't seen reported elsewhere before--but then I can't catch everything ) should, if true, be grounds for impeachment, IMO. If he really said that, then he's a "goddamned" oath-breaker.
The other examples given do not involve any profanity or "cursing" except by some neo-victorian bowdlerization of thought. "Shit" and "son of a bitch" are both vulgar expressions (and S.O.B is "fightin' words" in some neighborhoods), but they are not profanity and not cursing.
"Fuck" in its many various manifestations can be anything from obscene to vulgar, but clainming it is a curse word takes some real semantic gymnastics.
I do heartily wish that people could once again recognize distinctions between obcenity, profanity and vulgarity, because not only are those distinctions very real, but they are differences that do indeed make a difference.
That supposedly literate people (news media are among the most prolific in pejoration of the language) make no such distinctions is simply another validation of my frequent assertion that we are fast becoming a nation of subliterates (where we are not becoming a nation of illiterates; see here.)
That being said, the remark, "What they need to do is to get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this shit," actually seems appropriate in this case... Much better, at least, than typical Foggy Bottom mealy-mouthed waffling.
Plain speech at least has the virtue of honesty, as Andrew Jackson's "colorful" (read as "vulgar, sometimes approaching both the obscene and profane") speech might well teach us. Much better than the usual political bovine scatology.

LOL. A profoundly upbeat take on the downside of verbal fodder, David.

Does he really think your constitution a piece of paper? Do you? No wonder you guys are in such a mess.
Disagree with the constitution all you want. Move to change it if you feel it isn't up to date. But for your own sake, respect it. For that thin piece of paper is what keeps you from dictatorship. I bet you wouldn't be as apathic if it was the Democrats who were in power and said those words. How would Bush feel if "the right to bear arms" was simply flicked away by the next administration.
In your own passion to idolise your current president, you fail to see how his sentiments would affect you if for some chance you happen to be on the other fence.
Your constitution is one that I as a foreigner am very much impressed with. It is a pledge of a plot of land to whoever decides to make it their home.
My own country's constitution is much simpler and practically useless.
All I am saying is.. Respect your constitution. Its actually what made America what it is.
just my two cents.. I arrived by blogexplosion.

Husz - I think maybe in translation some meaning was lost in what I wrote. I do not believe for one second that the US President (nor I, for that matter) does not believe in what our Constitution says - as it is written. Literally. I do believe that both he and I do have a problem with those that would twist old words to be able to take on new meaning (to rewrite the Constitution) to suit certain factions needs that operate within the US today.
I do not idolize the President. In fact, I have points of view that are in complete disagreement with him.
Husz - remember it is the people that write the words on the paper. Laws are no more permanent nor perfect than the human beings that compose them.
One misconception you write about is that, "It is a pledge of a plot of land to whoever decides to make it their home." There is no free pass for plots of land here just because you swear allegience to our country. No more so than the country you live in now. The ability to hold land and prosper is based on an individuals ability to exercise his own free will to work hard (earn money and buy) towards that goal.
