Israel has gone from a country where only 1 in 4 or 5 families owned a car to one in which some families now have as many as 3 cars - and the environment has obviously suffered.
All these high tech companies are providing their employees with a late model car, while 1 in 4 Israeli children live below the poverty line.
Something is wrong here, no?
Save the planet? Tell this to the oil companies (including Israeli ones who import the crude oil and turn it into petrol). We could have all been using alternative energy had not the oil cos interfered. American science fiction writer Ray Bradbury wrote a story back the 1980's of what would be the end result of wasting too much energy. Like he wrote in his story, maybe it would be better if people no longer had fossel fuels tp run thier cars. A much cleaner world perhaps?
