This is the post that started everything here, just so you guys know. Seeing this had us shouting "I'm a mom; my mind is full of my son" at each other for a while. Then we decided to make a bloggings.

He did the footwork, I got lazy for a while, then decided to put at least half my ass into it.

Djur's a lot better at putting things in words without being long-winded and nonsensical. He didn't hit on what I would have exactly (one of my recurring theses is the trivialization of the feminine - pushing girls towards toys without a lot of options, and towards hobbies that do nothing particularly interesting or constructive), but anything I would have talked about besides that he summed up better than I could have and with fewer words.

Seriously, folks, never going to stop drinking this piss.
