I think that if that law is passed, it'll be about as effective as gun control laws. I don't see any way Big Brother can regulate all those millions of blogs out there. And how do they decide which blogs are "political"? We probably all mention politiics every so often, so what's the cut-off? 10% of content? 50%? 75%? I would not worry about this if I were you.

The problem, as near as I can tell, is what kind of political content you have. If you endorse a particular candidate or advocate monetary support for a particular candidate, you could end up being sanctioned by the FEC. And don't think for a minute that bloggers of the opposite political persuasion won't turn you in to the feds.
