I am googling bee extinction right now but quite frankly I dont buy it.

I see tons of bees and I dunno why they would go extinct, flowers all over the place...makes no sense...

But this better not be like that fish extinction stuff Ive heard a few times during my lifetime.

Dont worry kathryn some bees wont get mites and those bees will have more bee babies that dont get mites and it will all work itself out.

The mites arent new, the bees arent new, the problems not new.

Instead, its NEWS, and panic to sell newspapers and soapflakes.

the honey bees aren't around here as much either, i think the bumblebees pushed them around too much.

It's called Colony Collapse Disorder; the bees just fly off to die. Whenever I talk about it, people get this glazed look in their eyes. Fine, I think, see you at the apocalypse.

I remember when frogs were the end world indicater.

I promised myself if 1996 came and went I wouldnt worry about doomsday anymore.

And that got me 12 good years so far.

From what I can tell the human race is still doing faily well by the numbers. Wake me up if that changes.

I love honey. Scared of bees though. I once had a bee keeper for a friend and I go stung so many times I started to get sick. Not a good thing.
