Hi Jane Doe...the point wasn't about there being no minorities. the point was being a jury of your peers. As far as black people representing OJ...OJ played on the sympathy of black folks during the last trial-so even if there were blacks on the jury-I don't think they'd be too sympathetic towards him.
And I do agree with you on ur last sentence...that is brough up as an issue when the person on trial is crying racism. HOWEVER...there please be reminded there have been blacks sent to jail with an all white (or no blacks on the jury) INNOCENTLY. So not all blacks who cry racism...are crying wolf.
I AM NOT SAYING that is the case of OJ. I believe wholeheartedly he is guilty...and NOPE I was not in attendance during the time of the robbery.
I simply made note that there were no blacks on the jury.

There were no black people on the jury? Sorry, but black people on the jury doesn't mean shit if it is a fair trial you are looking for. There are many instances of black juries openly admitting they just weren't willing to see one of their own go to jail. Also, who is to say that there weren't any Hispanics, Asians or Arabs on the jury? Hispanics make up a larger % of the population than blacks but I dont see black people thinking it is important they be represented on juries.
If this took place in an area with a low black population than it doesn't mean ANYTHING that there were no blacks on the jury. The only reason anyone brings that up is that they are about 2 seconds away form screaming racism.......
