Very good point. We have come a long way from the days when members of the press were just as patriotic-minded as was the general populace.

Seems to me that the troops of today are far less 'brainwashed' than ever. Certainly the education level is higher, and the skill levels required seem much greater than ever - with all of the high tech equipment.
