My family and I think you and all the other soldiers are a blessing from God because it takes a special kind of man (or woman I guess) to do what you do.

Finally saw Tschiderer's story reported on CNN Sunday, complete with the anchoress batting her awed and unbelieving eyes. It was priceless. I guess this was the first time she'd seen an actual MAN in a REAL WORLD situation. Thanks, Doc.

Daaayyyyummm, that was a heart shot from a Dragonov that it stopped. Up until very recently that was fatal. Great job by Point Blank, they saved Tshiderer's family a visit from the Padre.

The video was played for the Senior Army Leadership (specifically the Vice Chief of Staff) this morning (7/20) in the Army Operations Center. Good comments all around.

Is this a great country or what?

Body Armor works, the good guys find and capture the bad guys, the bad guys are seriously evil yet sophisticated. They kill 24 children just to destroy a single American and damage his Humvee. They target and kill innocent folk who they claim to want to support after they return to power. They blow up every rebuilt thing they can get their hands on which might make life better for average Iraqis. And they cut the heads off of people they kidnap, who came to help them and their kids live a better life. Murder, rape pillage, plunder and misery is their hallmark.

Somebody tell me again why this war isn't justified?
