How about some comments on today's recruits, now that you have seen them from both ends of the pipeline?(heck, it's statistically possible that one of your recruits is now one of your troops!)

Are there things you wish you'd said/done as a recruiter now that you've seen the finished product? Do you have recommendations for Ft Benning as to how they should be turning recruits into soldiers? etc.

It amazes me how stupid and narrow mined some so called "real" Americans can be. Why don’t they leave the soldiers alone and take their cause to the government level. Our troops fight for our freedom to be able to say what we want and to change out government. It is sad that we have some that want to disrespect the soldier who gave them the right and freedom to speak out, and then to do this in Gods name. That man is no Christian and he is not a ‘real’ American with post like that. If he were, he would support the soldier and make his complaints to the people that HE FEELS are in the wrong, our government.

It's hard to know what you can and cannot answer about your trip: so, what kind?, which one? and how many?, and you fill in the parts that you're actually allowed to talk about!!!

Oh, I did think of something that's probably safe to ask: how's the velcro working out on the new DCUs (wrong acronym I think, but you get the picture) out in the field? Is the noise a problem?
