dear jack,
thanks for your piece concerning my post and your mild rebuttal on it.
i think, we've just sorted out thing in a proper manner: by explaining whatever we feel right through an elegant way i.e. via a writing/commenting.
thanks for the linkback. let me tell u sth, that ur blog is the first blog i knew when i start blogging a few months back. while i met indcoup blog only recently. so, it's great pelasure to see my own blog in yours, a blog i saw the first time i travel to the blogger world.
cheers up,

Ta for your comments one and all.
Fatih ~ glad I helped you get going.
Curious ~ unfortunately, I can't receive ABC. Are both progs on that channel?
Hi Enda.
The Indonesia Now 404 may be a temporary Blogger block. As for the Jakarta Post, you'll have to register ~ I think it's still free. I now link to their archived pages as their daily headline URLs are recycled, daily.

Hi, handsome 'our kid'!
Yes, at present, only ABC couch potatoes in mind!
Mysterious observation, following a doco, which cut to the chase on issues Indonesian, the transcript and footage are no longer available online...libel?..too close to the bone?...or a work of fiction?

I appreciate the kind words.
I'm glad that you guys can take care of the politics of living here - it takes the weight off my shoulders.
Since I've only been here a few years, I feel less in tune to the Indonesian news and politics. You guys have much more authority in those areas I'm sure.
It's great that we all have a variety of opinions and content for the world to see - and I guess we all have our areas of concern and focus. It's likely that I'll continue along my own path of relating my subjective experiences via photography in place of writing.
Perhaps we should plan a meet-up at Bugils someday. "Bart's Bloggers Bash"?
