it's hardly a secret! Bimantara started RCTI in the first place, TPI was partly privatised (incorporated) and handed over to Tutut, Dandi Rukmana (eldest son) was President for a long while, may be still is). SCTV had Peter Gontha and Cendana financing starting it etc. It never was a secret. The only reason why they let private company run TV stations here was because the sons wanted to play in the first place.
Except for the Bimantara holding i believe they no longer control majority stakes in any of the stations (most of them are public corp anyway, so you can dig it up in the BAPEPAM report). Mandiri/Danareksa research i believe issued a detailed report about this a while ago. i can dig it up if you're really interested.
PS: Dig Bimantara's shareholding structure and that's where the gem is. Enjoy the game tonight.

Yeah, please dig it all up and email me.
You know a lot more than me about the Cendana clan. I'm happy putting my spin on it all whilst you're out clubbing; just let me have the facts ~ or the gossip.
BTW. See you Friday?

I dug out some old rabbit ears and unplugged the Kabelvision connection and was able to get a half decent picture on SCTV for the games so far. Interesting to see one of Suharto's daughters hosting the half time discussion! (also reported in today's JP)
