Gravatar there was an article on Yahoo's front page a few days ago, but I can't seem to find it now... Anyway it talked about 3 bloggers in the USA, techcrunch.com (a techie gadgetry guy in the silicon valley), paidcontent.com (or .org??) (an all-in-one news portal for techies) and another one in Kentucky www.fark...?? (a mostly sports site where they use photoshop to put donkey heads on opposing players' pics and other sophomoric stuff)

Each of these guys was bringing in about $100,000/mo. from discreet little ads on the side of the page!!

Gravatar PayPal is an oxymoron. These people are sanctimonious prats, and the best word to describe them rhymes with "bankers".

Many moons ago I tried to set up a PayPal account. It was so frustrating and futile that I eventually gave up and told them precisely what I thought of their regulations, the quality (sic) of their employees, and the price of their service. Of course, I got a mealy-mouthed reply from their very wonderful automated response system. PayPal? Just say 'no'.

Gravatar So how do you guys in Indonesia add credit to SkypeOut then? I'm in Indonesia for one month late October and intend to check my UK business calls through Skype.

Jakartass - if you can help I'll bring over some Beer or Whisky from the UK (purchased with my PayPal account). I'm sure Jakartass will accept alcohol as a stipend.

I'm also guessing the primary reason PayPal is not available in the UK is that Indonesian Credit Cards are unable to confirm home addresses for mail delivery.
