According to my text book on urban drainage, Jakarta is among one of the hopeless cities in the world when it comes to their sewer system network.
....and even though I am studying this stuff and that a lot of people "expect" me to come back to Indonesia to make an improvement in the country's most polluted city, I feel reluctant to do so because it's not just about the environment problem. It's an enormous problem tangled up in economics, politics, social and a lot of other problems that is actually far from the real environmental problem itself.
